Naan bread by Tana Ramsey

A Tana Ramsey recipe, I'm putting it here because it's a handy recipe and most of the ingredients are household basics. (Serves 4-6)

450g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
125ml milk (plus 2 tbsp extra for brushing)
125ml natural yoghurt
1 egg

200 degrees

-Lightly grease a baking tray and warm in the oven.
-Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together in a large mixing bowl.
-In a separate bowl beat the milk, yoghurt and egg together.
-Make a well in the dry mixture and pour in the milk mixture, mix to a dough with a wooden spoon.
-Knead on a floured surface for 3-4 minutes.
-Divide into balls and flatten out, brush with milk and cook for 5-7 minutes.

(To make flavoured naan bread)
-Once flattened, top with your chosen filling (Tana Ramsey suggests 25g desiccated coconut, 25g ground almonds, 1 tsp sugar and 5 tbsp water mixed to a paste).
-Fold dough in half and pinch down the sides to seal it in, then flatten out again. (And then brush with milk and cook).
