Apple etc Crumble

I got the basic recipe from BBC food but then changed it quite a lot... so it's not really like the BBC one at all..! (Serves 4-ish).

Crumble:
300g plain flour
175g unrefined brown sugar
200g unsalted butter (room temperature, cubed)
Extra butter for greasing
Cinnamon, ginger, any other spices.

Filling:
450g chopped fruit. Suggestions include:
-apple, raspberry and blueberry.
-apple, mango and kiwi.
50g unrefined brown sugar
1 tbsp plain flour
Cinnamon, ginger, any other spices.

180 degrees/gas 4

-Sift the flour and mix with the sugar and spices.
-Rub in the butter a little at a time until it resembles breadcrumbs.
-Mix the fruit, sugar, flour and cinnamon in a bowl.
-Grease a baking dish and pour in the fruit mixture, then top with the crumble mixture.
-Bake for about 45 minutes.

(Delicious with whipped cream!)
